The arm lift Tunisia procedure is intended to refine the arms by tightening the excess skin. It is therefore aimed at patients who mainly have arms with flabby skin with or without excess fat. These are mainly patients with after-effects of massive weight loss on their arms, or thin patients whose arms have unsightly excess skin.
An incision is made under the arm, from the armpit to the elbow. Excess skin and tissue is excised, sometimes arm liposuction is also performed to remove residual fat deposits . Drainage tubes may also be placed to remove any excess fluid.
The procedure lasts one hour to one and a half hours.
They are placed under the arms and are therefore very barely visible. So that they are neither seen from the front nor from the back, but only if we look under the arms. They go from the axillary hollow to the elbow. These scars often frighten patients, but are most often very discreet.

After an arm lift, the care is very simple. They boil down to a daily shower with washing the scars with soap and water. Scars should be dried carefully. The use of a deodorant should be prohibited until healing is complete.
All arm movements are possible a few days after the procedure. Resumption of normal activity is possible after this period.
Sport practice will only be resumed after a month, to allow healing to take place without problems.

The arm lift is reserved for patients who have excess skin on the arm, associated or not with excess fat. When there is excess fat without excess skin, the appropriate treatment is simple liposuction of the arms.
It is assessed within 6 to 12 months after the intervention.
Most often, we observe a good correction of fatty infiltration and sagging of the skin, which clearly improves the morphology of the arm. The improvement on the functional level is also very clear, especially in the case of the facelift with longitudinal incision.
Scars are usually visible, mainly with regard to the longitudinal component on the inner side of the arm, which is not hidden in a natural fold.
